Veuve Clicquot Rosé
Pronunciation: { Viuv Klik-(u)o Rozé }In 1818 Madame Clicquot invented the first known blended champagne Rosé, which you can enjoy and share today for its liveliness and fruity varieties.
Made from 50 to 60 different ingredients, the cuvée is based on the traditional Yellow Label blend, 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Meunier, 28 to 33% Chardonnay.
The blend is then complemented by 12% still red wine using red grapes that add fruitiness. It ages for a minimum of 3 years in Crayères Veuve Clicquot.
The aroma of the wine is generous and delicate, initially dominated by the scent of fresh red fruits (raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries, blackberries), which evolves towards notes of dried fruits and pastries: almonds, apricots, brioche.
On the palate, the entry is fresh, then gives way to fruity harmony. The wine is gourmet, full-bodied, and tastes like a delicacy.
