Bourbon Wild Turkey Longbranch was created in 2016 by master distiller of Wild Turkey - Eddie Russell and actor Matthew McConaughey.

Eddie and Matthew bonded over their shared curiosity and love of fine whiskey, so they wondered what would happen if a Kentucky bourbon took a trip to Texas. Their creation - a small-batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon, refined using American oak and Texas mesquite charcoal - was named Longbranch, a reference to an extension of the hand or an invitation for friends to become family.

Matthew McConaughey is not only a brand ambassador for Wild Turkey, but also a creative director who was actively involved in the development of Longbranch. His involvement wasn't just token - he tested flavours, approved processes and oversaw every detail. The name "Longbranch" symbolizes the friendship, connection and bridge between Texas and Kentucky.
