Kilchoman Machir Bay is an excellent but mainly high-quality Scottish single malt whisky, originating from the Islay region. The name Machir Bay comes from a small but very beautiful beach in Scotland.
The whisky matured for approximately 6 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. In the end, it was filled into ex-sherry Oloroso casks, resulting in an amazingly balanced flavor profile. It has a fantastically pleasant aroma with notes of vanilla cookies, fruit, and warm peaty smoke.
We recommend serving it with a drop of water, but best neat at room temperature. It comes in a very nice blue-gold gift packaging along with two glasses.
Color: gold with subtle orange reflections
Aroma: lemon peel, vanilla, cookies, fruit, smoke, peat
Taste: honey, malt, caramel, wood, raisins, spice, fruit
Finish: long, pleasant, cherries, spice, sea salt, peat
