Akori Gin

Akori Gin may seem like a Japanese gin at first glance, but it's a gin from Spain inspired by Japan. The gin is produced by the family-owned, Barcelona-based company Destilerías Campeny, which is committed to a high level of quality.

A premium gin with a base of rice alcohol, juniper and other ingredients such as dragon fruit, kumquat, ginger and citrus.

As soon as the bottle is opened, the room fills with a wonderful slightly sweet and fresh aroma that is reminiscent of the ocean on the nose. Extremely fresh and tropical nuances, rarely found in other fine dry gins, develop and linger luxuriously on the tongue.

Sweet and fresh aromas of juicy Japanese dragon fruit are in perfect balance with zesty citrus and kumquat, and are fully complemented by a subtle hint of spicy juniper berries.

The exceptional flavour is provided by a subtle touch of fresh ginger, which leaves a slightly spicy sensation in the mouth. This unexpected flavour composition will make you crave for more and it is almost a shame to mix the unique Akori Gin with other drinks.

On the smooth finish, the delicious Akori is extremely smooth and the dragon fruit aroma boldly stands out. It is not expected that Spain, or any country in the Mediterranean, will stand out as a gin producing country, but Spain does produce a high quality gin that is very smooth compared to other countries.
