Botran Rare Blend is an excellent Guatemalan blended rum from a limited edition made from concentrated sugarcane juice. It is a blend of aged rums from 8 to 25 years.
It was created in connection with the 80th anniversary of Casa Botran. After blending, it aged in five different oak barrels, including barrels from American whiskey, charred barrels from American whiskey, and barrels from Spanish and Portuguese wine. Finally, it was filled into premium Guatemalan oak barrels, which imparted a subtly spicy flavor with notes of vanilla, nuts, and cinnamon.
Due to the long aging process, small particles may be present in the rum, which are harmless to the human body.
Color: mahogany with golden reflections
Aroma: deep, wood, vanilla, nuts, dried fruit
Taste: intense, oak, vanilla, spice, fruit, plums
Finish: long, slightly spicy, fruit, nuts, cinnamon
