Premium Venezuelan dark Blended rum Carúpano Reserva Exclusiva 12 is made from a mixture of rums that have matured on average for up to 12 years. It is then filled into white American oak barrels and matured for several more weeks. It is bottled with 40 % alcohol content. It has excellent taste tones of plum, cinnamon, cloves, wood and honey, which you will definitely not resist.
Thanks to his irresistible taste, he has won several world awards and medals. The bottle has a matte black and blue texture. To improve the taste and aroma, we recommend serving it in a low glass with two ice cubes, a slice of lemon and a tonic.
Mix up a great Dark 'n' Stormy drink at home:
■ 6cl Carúpano Reserva Exclusiva 12
■ 2cl lime juice
■ Angostura Bitter
■ Thomas Henry Ginger Beer
Fill the glass with ice cubes, add ginger beer, two slices of lime, fresh lime juice, Angostura Bitter and finally pour in Carúpano Reserva Exclusiva 12. You can find the whole procedure in the video.
Untraditional dark rum from the Ron Cartavio brand, which comes from Peru. If you've never had a rum from Peru before, this warming delight should be a great introduction.
It was produced in the hacienda of Captain Don Domingo de Cartavio, thanks to which it got its name. It is a blend of several 5 to 15 year old Peruvian rums, which were carefully and very expertly mixed using the Solera method. This method is known from the Spanish wineries in the city of Jerez, where the world-famous sherry is also matured.
The rum comes in a very nice gift box.
