Cane Island Barbados 8 Year Old

The highlight of the Cane Island independent collection is this 8-year-old rum from Barbados, which was distilled at the best rum distillery in the world, Foursquare!

It is made from extremely high quality molasses, grown and harvested by local farmers working at the distillery. It was distilled using a Pot and Column Still. Subsequently, it was filled into American ex-bourbon barrels made of white oak, where it matured for a long 8 years.

Without added dyes, aromas and sugar! Finally, it was poured into bottles with 43 % alcohol content, which were closed with a cork. For 100% enjoyment, we recommend serving neat without ice or water.

Color: amber with brown reflections
Aroma: fresh, oak, pepper, nuts, plums, figs
Taste: mildly spicy, wood, cinnamon, pepper
Finish: medium long, warm, molasses, fruit, butter
