The Chairman's Reserve Limited Edition 1931 is a tribute to the philosophy and craft of rum production established by Denis Barnard. In 1931 he founded a distillery, which today has become one of the most valuable treasures of St. Lucia. A mixture of 6 to 11 year old distillates aged in Bourbon and Port barrels. Most of the 1931 rum mixture consists of traditional molasses rums, but there is also a Lucian agricultural distillate made from fresh sugar cane, grown in fields adjacent to the distillery.
Aroma: raisins, oak tones, leather, sugar cane, spices and tobacco
Taste: sultanas, caramel cream and butter oak, raisins pulled with a dry tan aftertaste, sweetness
