Chairman's Reserve Limited Edition 1931 is a tribute to the philosophy and craftsmanship of rum production established by Denis Barnard. In 1931, he founded the distillery, which has since become one of the most treasured gems of Saint Lucia. A blend of 6 to 11-year-old distillates aged in Bourbon and Port casks. Most of the 1931 rum blend consists of traditional molasses rums, but it also contains Lucian agricultural distillate from fresh sugarcane grown in fields adjacent to the distillery.
Aroma: raisins, oak notes, leather, sugarcane, spices, and tobacco
Taste: sultanas, caramel cream, and buttery oak, raisins drawn by a dry tannic finish, sweetness
Finish: unique and balanced
