Chateau Grand Bari Cassavita 2022

Chateau Grand Bari Cassavita is a wine with protected designation of origin, quality wine, white, semi-sweet, low-histamine, variety Furmint from the vineyard of the town of Košice, vintage 2022.

The Cassavita wine was created with the aim of bringing back the tradition from the 14th century, when Košice had a monopoly of the wine trade. Later in the 16th century Košice already had its own vineyards in Tokaj. Therefore, the Grand Bari winery decided to bring back this tradition and symbolically hand over 1 hectare of vineyards to the city.

The gentle breeze of the autumn meadow with a finish of flowering muscadines will tickle your nose. The subtle yet vibrant sweetness of the Luna apple with a spicy finish of furmint will draw you perfectly into the hustle and bustle of the big city. Feel the harmony of this light wine and let its rhythm carry you through the night.

The wine is recommended to be served heavily chilled at 9 °C, in white wine glasses, and goes well with salads or soft ripened cheeses.
