Coloma Cask Strength 2010
Colombian rum Coloma Cask Strength is distilled in 2010. Old rum - cask strength - 10 years - 1 month in coffee liqueur casks. Aged at cask strength, i.e. the natural level of rum present in the cask without alcohol reduction, Coloma Cask Strength rum reveals a rich and complex aromatic profile.
From this small batch of the 2010 vintage, 3200 numbered bottles were produced.
Its aromas open with notes of eucalyptus backed by sweet spices. Very quickly aromas of milk chocolate and lightly toasted wood emerge. Finally, aromas of dates, maple syrup and brown sugar herald the delicacy that awaits us in the mouth.
The palate shows roasted notes that evoke sweet spices. Flavours of grilled coffee and noble wood develop on gourmet dates, which form a long and pleasant finish.
The history of Coloma rum is closely linked to that of the Constain family. Although it was born recently thanks to Albert Constain Cenzano, it all started with his father, Albert Constain Medina, in 1959. In that year, the young entrepreneur became the proud owner of the family's country house built in the late 19th century in the town of Fusagasugá in the heart of Colombia.
Bottled at 61 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l. They come in a gift carton.
