8-Year-Old Coloma Rum combines two legendary products of Colombia, rum and coffee. This is where it all began. In 1959, Alberto Constain Medina started producing premium coffee under the Coloma brand, later creating a coffee liqueur until he eventually ventured into rum, where he combined everything.
The Colombian 8-Year-Old Coloma Rum aged at an altitude of 1700 m.a.s.l. in oak ex-bourbon barrels and spent the final 3 months resting in barrels that previously held coffee liqueur. Coloma Rum is made from two different varieties of sugarcane. This process ensures a unique result with a perfect aroma, a pronounced coffee note accompanied by hints of chocolate, nuts, and vanilla.
