Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye
Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye is so-called piece of art in the world of American whiskey. It is a predominantly rye whiskey (more precisely 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley) produced in a special edition Bottled-in-Bond. It is a strictly legally defined designation, which means that it can be distilled by only one distiller during one distillation season, matured only in a state-bound warehouse for at least 4 years, and bottled with an alcohol content of 100 proof.
Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye has its own specific character. However, it is still a first-class Jack Daniel's whiskey produced on long time bases traditions. Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye offers complex, balanced and bold character, which is more robust due to the higher alcohol content. The taste is distinctive and complex, full of seductive mix of berry fruit, vanilla, butter caramel and sharper tones of black pepper, oak and rye.
High-quality water is needed for the production of whiskey, so when Jack Daniels founded the distillery, he bought the water source Cave Spring Hollow - a cave and its surroundings, which are a rare natural source of crystal clear spring water. Layers of cave limestone naturally supply the water with various minerals that contribute to its unique character.
The bottles have a volume of 0.7 l.
