Joseph Cartron Créme de Cassis de Bourgogne Double Créme
Joseph Cartron Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne Double Crème is a premium French liqueur from Burgundy, made from the finest variety of blackcurrant - Noir de Bourgogne.
These currants are grown on the slopes surrounding the Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy and are harvested at full ripeness in early summer. The liqueur has an alcohol content of 19 % and is known for its intense aroma and rich flavour.
This liqueur is ideal for enjoying straight with ice as well as for preparing various cocktails. It is traditionally used in combination with white wine. It is also an excellent addition to culinary recipes and desserts.
Founded in 1882 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Joseph Cartron is a family-run business specialising in the production of liqueurs and spirits from regional fruits. Their Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne Double Crème is considered the company's emblem and won a silver medal at the 2018 agricultural competition.
