Kilchoman Uniquely Islay Batch Strength is part of Islay Distillery's Core Range Trilogy series and will likely be released annually in the future.
This single malt whisky represents the natural strength and maritime character of the Kilchoman distillery. This intense Islay spirit is matured in freshly fired red wine casks, Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon casks.
With a few drops of Kilchoman spring water, the alcohol content reached 57 % after maturation.
You'll be amazed by the aromas of cherry, heather blossom and hints of smoke. On the palate, you'll detect salted caramel and strong peat. A true and powerful single malt from Kilchoman!
