Kirk and Sweeney Gran Reserva is a luxury Dominican rum meeting the strict conditions for products that can be proud of this local designation. It is made from the best, hand-processed fresh sugar cane in small batches.

The taste of this rum fully awakens during maturation in American and French oak barrels, in which it matures using the Solera system for up to 18 years. It stands out with an impressively delicious combination of molasses, sherry, vanilla and caramel with a light hint of oak.

The aroma of rum is exceptionally appealing – first impressions reflect sweet notes of vanilla, caramelised sugar, sherry and raisins, underscored by a subtle background of oak wood and cane sugar.

The flavour is complex and elegant, with a balanced harmony of molasses, vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit, while a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon adds a subtle spicy depth. The finish is long and lingering, with a bittersweet balance, where notes of oak, coffee, spice and sweet fruit linger.
