Macleod's Islay Single Malt Whisky
The Macleod's Regional Malts collection is a perfect introduction to the world of Scottish single malt whiskey. It contains a selection of single malt Scotch whiskeys, which according to Macleod's are the most representative for the region.
Islay is the most famous of the Scottish islands for whiskey production. Distillers on this small island, Westerly, produce some of the strongest phenolic malts. It is robust, sea-tasting and intensely peat. The taste is immense with tones of sherry, peat, smoke and sea salt. Not for the faint of heart.
