Metaxa Orange

Amber treasure Metaxa Orange is a novelty coming from Greece. The idea to create the brandy came from Greek merchant and adventurer Spyros Metaxa, who put his whole Greek soul into the recipe for the unique brandy. The drink began to be exported from the distillery in Athens to the whole of Greece, and of course it gradually reached the whole world. 130 years have passed since the creation of Metaxa.

The Muscat wines that form the basis of Metaxa originated on the island of Samos. The seemingly weak vines with roots up to 30 metres long produce sweet grapes and are harvested entirely by hand. It also contains aged wine spirits matured for up to 5 years in oak barrels.

This base is complemented by natural extracts of delicious oranges, ripened in the Mediterranean Greek sun. The alcohol content is 38 %. We recommend serving the drink with an ice cube or in a mixed drink.
