Patridom XO Cask is a premium rum made from molasses and sugar cane that comes from the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic. After distillation, it was bottled for 12 to 15 years in American and French oak barrels.
After maturation, it was mixed with cane sugar and bottled in half-liter bottles with a high alcohol content of 65 %. The name of the rum (Patridom) is a word composed of two Spanish words "patrimonio" and "dominicano", which could be translated as Dominican heritage.
This rum is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, which boasts the title of the most sustainable distillery in the world. It produces almost no waste and is 100% energy self-sufficient.
The rum is housed in a beautiful colored gift tube.
Color: mahogany with red-brown reflections
Nose: distinctive, slightly sweet, sour, wood, coconut, honey
Taste: complex, full, butter, raisins, chocolate, spices
Finish: long, slightly spicy, bitter, plums, figs, nuts, oil
