Piccini Collezione Privata Rosso Toscano is an Italian red wine made from 4 grape varieties: 40 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet, 20 % Syrah, 20 % Sangiovese, Toscano IGT wine region, Italy.
The grapes are temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks after juicing and crushing. After maceration, the wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of large barrels and barriques, using specific barrels reserved for Sangiovese and barriques for international grapes. The result is a harmonious and well-structured wine with rich complexity.
The bouquet of the wine reveals its rich and opulent essence, decorated with notes of spice, chocolate, ripe plums and blackberries. In the sip, a subtle sweetness emerges, accompanying towards a prosperous and full-bodied experience.
Flavours of liquorice, resin and ripe fruit dance on the palate and delight the senses. Supple tannins contribute to a velvety texture, lingering and deep flavour.
Recommended to serve in combination with roasted meats, poultry and aged cheeses at 18 °C.
