A complete novelty on the market, on sale from October 2019, the Rebel Yell French Barrel Special Finish, is an excellent bourbon finished by maturing in toasted barrels of French wine for 6 months. Sweet and delicious. It also appeals to non-bourbon fans. Great alone or in an Old Fashioned drink.
Aroma: as in American cuisine, caramel popcorn, pumpkin pie, vanilla ice cream dusted with cinnamon
Taste: sweet and chewy, more cinnamon, hot chocolate, biscuits, oak sharpness, tropical fruit, sweet coffee, syrup
Conclusion: medium length, oak, pepper and chocolate in perfect balance
