Rudolf Jelínek Čerešňovica
Čerešňovica is a spirit characterised by its cherry aroma and smooth taste, accompanied by a light hint of stone fruit. It is made from late dark cherry varieties from the Beskydy Mountains.
The cherries thrive in the foothills of the Beskydy Mountains and achieve ideal ripeness and sugar content. It is the dark cherry varieties that are processed using traditional recipes, while modern technologies are also used in production. The mature cherry ferment with the pits undergoes a three-stage distillation process and is aged in stainless steel tanks for at least a year before bottling, which harmonises the flavour and aroma and rounds out the overall flavour.
The bottle is 0.7l in volume and is shaped like an alarm clock. We recommend serving this spirit at room temperature, so the flavour and aroma fully develop.
