Description

Talisker has recently become a staple of Diageo's special editions, and this 2022 edition continues to highlight the character of Talisker.

In addition to the classic American oak ex-bourbon barrels, several wine barrels have been thrown into the mix to add subtle but interesting additional fruit complexity and spiciness. The whisky is aged for 11 years.

This whisky was created by the sea. It is salty, boisterous and smoky. Exactly what a whisky from the Isle of Skye can be.

Talisker 11 Year Old Special Release 2022 is as alive as the earth. It's characterised by salty aromas of the sea and smoky notes of charred wood.

The texture is slightly oily, the taste sweet and spicy, smoky and salty yet fruity. Notes of peat and chilli pepper appear on the finish. Such is the legendary ethereal beauty of Talisker whisky.

Bottled at 55,1 % alcohol and 0,7 l in volume. They come in beautiful gift tubes with the brand's distinctive character.
