The Real McCoy 5 Year Old

The Real McCoy is a 5-year-old rum from Barbados. It is made from first-class molasses, which is obtained from sugar cane grown by farmers. He was inspired by Bill McCoy, who subsisted on alcohol smuggling during Prohibition.

After distillation using Column & Pot Still, it was filled into heavily charred ex-bourbon barrels, in which it matured for 5 years. Thanks to the barrels, it got a slightly spicy taste with tones of cinnamon, vanilla and grilled apples.

We recommend serving gently chilled and with a cube of ice. It was filled into bottles with 40 % alcohol content.
