When smelled, the alcohol doesn't break through into an unpleasant strength, rather the opposite. The initial taste is very smooth on the tongue and slides nicely down the throat. Gradually, as it mellows, it opens up to its already slightly greater strength, in which a slight woodiness and a medium and dry sharpness begin to emerge.
