Bundle Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve 2022 + 2023 + 2024
Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve 2023 - This year, Master Blender, Oliver Chilton, sought to create a blend that is closer to the original Navy rum with a heavier mouthfeel and rich notes of smoke, espresso and cocoa.
Grenada rum, distilled in 1993, was added to the blend to add depth and bring out the rich orange oil notes. So Oliver started with the rum from the blend - Master Blender's Reserve from last year. Then he selected casks from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana.
A higher proportion of Guyana was included in this year's blend, the dense liquorice in this rum helping to recreate the unique flavour profiles that were evident over half a century ago.
After blending all these unique ingredients, the rum was bottled at 54,5 % alcohol. Get ready for an incredible explosion of flavours along with a fantastically fruity aroma. The bottle comes in an exclusive white and gold gift tube with a minimalist design.

Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve is a limited edition special blended rum of the year 2022. It is a mixture of twenty extremely exclusive molasses rums from Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad from different distilleries.
The rum casks were selected from the deep and long archival cellars located below the Black Tot distillery. The first batch of rums from Guyana consists of a 30-year-old rum that underwent column still distillation and continental maturation.
The second batch comes from the world-famous Barbados, it is a 19-year-old rum from the Mount Gay distillery, a 16-year-old and a 7-year-old from Foursquare. The third batch originates in Jamaica, consisting of 27-year-old from New Yarmouth, 27, 24 and 22-year-old from Clarendon Estate, 23-year-old from Long Pond and the last 22-year-old from an unknown distillery.
The penultimate batch comes from Trinidad with 24, 12, 12 and 10-year-old rums from the TDL distillery, along with one 24-year-old from Caroni. The last batch added is a combination of last year's edition of Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve 2021 together with the original blend of Royal Navy rums.
After mixing all these unique rums, the rum was bottled with 54.5 % alcohol content. Get ready for an incredible explosion of flavors along with a fantastically fruity aroma created by combining all the exotic rums. The bottle is housed in an exclusive white-gold gift tube with a minimalist design.
Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve 2024 is one of the most complex and balanced rums to sip with rich layers of tropical fruit, manuka honey and white chocolate.
The rum is aged in American and European oak barrels.
Rediscovering the lost art of blending, rare single-cask rums from Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica are blended with last year's Master Blenders Reserve. As always, original Royal Navy rum is added to preserve the liquid history.
This year Master Blender, Olive Chilton, has included a higher proportion of Barbados rums to highlight the rich tropical fruit in the blend. A full blend breakdown is provided in the reservation, which includes the distillery of origin, years of tropical and continental maturation, and the percentage of each blend component.
The bottles are bottled at 54,5 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and come in creamy white gift cartons.
