It matures by the soler method, which means that it is not a distillate of a certain age, but a mixture of individual distillates with different maturation lengths. They are matured in different barrels and then mixed. It is a sophisticated method that comes from Spain. It matures in ex-brandy and ex-sherry barrels. Ron Relicario is a mixture of rums aged 5, 8 and 12 years.

However, what makes this rum truly unique is its finishing in vermouth casks. Aged for 6 months in American oak barrels in which Mancino Vermouth Vecchio was previously matured for 12 months. This method adds another layer of complexity to the rum, while giving it the characteristic notes of herbs and aromatic spices that are typical of vermouth. The result is a harmonious drink with a rich aroma and delicate nuances that range from sweet to herbal.
It is a light rum, which is the result of optimal fermentation and distillation of musts, as well as aging in barrels. Relicario Ron Dominicano Vermouth Finish is recommended to be enjoyed alone or in cocktails, such as Rum Manhattan.
