The rich and elegant single malt whiskey Tamdhu has matured exclusively in the best Oloroso sherry barrels for 12 years. Sheryside whiskeys from Speyside are always delicious with fruity and spicy tones. This rare wood adds two great things to whiskey - color and taste.
The Tamdhu distillery was founded in 1879 on the banks of the River Spey. Since then, every whiskey has been made with the same care - starting with water drawn from their own springs.
Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is a refreshing but mainly fruity Scotch blended whisky which is part of the new limited edition together with Cask Edit and Bourbon Cask. These versions were created by blending small batches of Islay single mortars.
Sherry Cask is a combination of two great whiskies from the north and south coast of Islay, matured in first-fill and refill ex-sherry Butts and Hogshead casks. Thanks to the barrels, it acquired a fantastic taste of dried red fruits with notes of plums, chocolate and smoke. The blending process was overseen by Head Blender Oliver Chilton.
Finally, the whiskey was filled into traditional bottles in the shape of a chemical ampoule, which represents the Elements of Islay. The bottles are housed in minimalistic black gift boxes.
For 100% enjoyment, we recommend serving it straight without ice or water at room temperature.
