Carúpano Reserva Especial 6 is a Venezuelan dark blended rum with a pronounced salty flavor and notes of caramel, nuts, raisins, and wood. It is made from a blend of rums that have aged for up to 6 years. It is then filled into white American oak barrels and aged for several more weeks. It is bottled at 40% alcohol content. This rum is very high quality and flavorful for its price category and will surprise any experienced rum master.
The rum has received several world awards and medals thanks to its enchanting taste and quality. For better flavor and aroma, we recommend serving it neat without ice. However, if you want to experiment, squeeze a slice of lemon into the Carúpano Reserva Especial 6, add two ice cubes, and top it off with Thomas Henry Botanical tonic.
