Chateau Grand Bari Tokaj 3-puttonyos 2017
Wine with protected designation of origin Tokaj 3-puttonyos from the winery Grand Bari, white, sweet, variety Furmint, Hárslevelű and Muscat Blanc, vintage 2017, wine-growing region Tokaj.
The Tokaj 3-puttonyos selection is made using the traditional oxidative method with a minimum of 60 g/l residual sugar. The wine has been aged in Gönc barrels for more than 3 years to acquire its unmistakable character.
The first in a series of Tokaj selections, but also the most popular. Pleasant but cautious honeyed aromas complemented by a subtle hint of plum jam, but with extremely balanced acidity.
The wine goes well with roast duck, goose, or pancakes with caramel and forest fruits. We recommend serving it as an aperitif for important events, chilled at 12 °C, in white wine glasses.
Bottle maturity is several years if stored properly. The wine bottle should be stored horizontally - so that the precious liquid inside continuously touches the cork. The cork protects the wine from unwanted air, which could adversely affect the quality of the wine, and the constant temperature of the room used for storing the wine is also crucial.
