Clairin Casimir Rum 2021 is produced by the Haitian distillery Faubert Casimir from pure cane juice. This artisanal family-run distillery is located on the shores of the Antilles Sea, in the territory of Baradères.
Here, rum made from fresh sugar cane juice is fermented with wild yeasts in open-air vats. Wild aniseed, ginger and lemongrass are added to these vats, creating a unique fermentation process.
This edition was distilled in 2021 in pot stills over an open flame by Faubert Casimir. It was bottled without any reduction to preserve all its deliciousness. This clairin is therefore brut d'alambic.
The bottles were bottled at 51,5 % alcohol and come in gift boxes.
