The story of the Ron Colón Salvadoreño brand began with rum, but gradually its offer expanded in a very interesting way. And so here we have something from a different barrel: Colón Salvadoreño Rye 100 is a rye whiskey made from ingredients from the American Midwest (it is a product labeled MGP - Midwest Grain Product).

Whiskey Colón Salvadoreño Rye 100 proof is crafted according to historical standards and using its own yeast. It contains a blend of 3 other remarkable whiskeys: high-malt whiskey, 51% rye whiskey and 100% rye whiskey. The first of these was used only in small quantities and introduced notes of chocolate and apple into the mix. The second made this whiskey fruitier and sweet. And the third portion of 100% rye whiskey added the taste of mint, spices and flowers. Each of the whiskeys in this interesting blend matured for 5 years in charred oak barrels. Whiskey Colón Salvadoreño Rye was bottled as 100 proof. Do not hesitate to taste it too!
