Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 2022

Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition 2022 is a collection of master craftsmanship. Each cask in this series is individually selected and perfectly tailored to the character of each of the refined single malt distillates.

Two-part maturation process adds greater depth and complexity, which is the idea behind the limited edition Distillers Edition preserving the perfection of single malts that have already been acclaimed for their exceptional flavors. Selected flavor nuances are more strongly highlighted in a way that is not found in regular bottles.

The name Dalwhinnie translates from Gaelic as "the meeting place." The distillery, which has survived periods of closure, has been producing its signature single malt since 1947, with a complete modernization occurring in 1996. Dalwhinnie has the coldest average annual temperature of all inhabited places in Scotland.

Since 1997, limited quantities have been released annually as part of the Distillers Edition, each being very true to its origin, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity, and flavor nuances that are not found in the regular release.

This excellent Dalwhinnie whisky first matured in American and European oak casks. The second maturation was completed in American oak casks with Oloroso sherry, which were re-charred, and with heavily charred ends from new oak wood.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift boxes.
