Foursquare Shibboleth
Foursquare Shibboleth is the latest collectible rum from Richard Seal and his Barbados distillery, Foursquare Rum Distillery.
This single blended rum was created by combining double-retort copper pot still distillation and continuous twin column still method. Subsequently, Foursquare Shibboleth aged for a long 16 years in bourbon barrels made of American white oak.
Shibboleth (Hebrew: שבולת, Slovak: obilný klas) is a linguistic tool used in communication situations to distinguish members of one (social, dialectal) group from another, in a broader sense, a password, a catchphrase, a reference. Shibboleths are not language schools; on the contrary: they often consist of (seemingly) frequently pronounced words that can reveal the speaker's origin, often without their knowledge.

It is rum in its natural form. No sweetening, no flavoring, and no added coloring. It is also unfiltered, so a slight cloudiness may appear as evidence.
Aroma: Perfumed notes of white pepper, vanilla pod, raisins, pineapple with hints of turmeric and eucalyptus combined with heavy rum notes of burnt rubber and asphalt.
Taste: Smooth, sweet, and vanilla-cream flavor. Full of ripe mango, caramel, golden syrup, and a delicate sweet anise flavor.
Finish: Beautiful summer notes of tropical fruit give way to a long-lasting spicy finish packed with baking spices and an intoxicating desire to reach for another sip.
