Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Old

Whiskey from Glenmorangie, the preparation of which ends in barrels from sherry Oloroso. The word 'lasanta' is derived from the Gallic word for warmth and passion. The aroma is creamy and caramel, full of creme anglaise and raisins in chocolate, quite dry, with tones of mixed sweet spices. The feeling in your mouth is very dense when you feel the taste of raisins with honey. There's a bit of sweet beeswax, melted vanilla ice cream when sherry gently winds on the tongue, a very buttery expression. Much more of this honey is in the cream finish. It has a sweet oak dryness and is dusted with cocoa powder.
