Kraken Black Spiced The Legendary Survivor Series

This limited edition The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is the first in the Legendary Survivors series, which celebrates the stories of several people who have experienced an encounter with a dangerous sea monster and survived to tell the tale.

Featuring drawings by Justin Estcourt, The Lighthouse Keeper tells the story of a courageous lighthouse keeper whose life was changed forever after a terrifying encounter with the monstrous Kraken.

A black spiced rum, Kraken promises to cause a "perfect storm" in the rum category. An aged Caribbean rum enriched with exotic spices including cinnamon, ginger and cloves. The brand's name is derived from a mythical sea monster - a monstrous-sized octopus that is said to grow up to 100 feet long - that attacks ships and devours their crews.

This dry-style rum smells of spice and tastes dark and spicy, like over-baked gingerbread, with lots of vanilla, plus hints of ginger and pepper on the finish.
