Book 4, whisky of the limited series, celebrates the founding of the malt house by Ian Hunter and his legacy as Malt Master of Laphroaig.
Ian secured the distillery lease in 1922, infiltrated America during Prohibition, was the catalyst for a revolution in the use of American white oak, and is the reason we are still among the handful of distillers who maintain their own malt houses today. He put his heart and soul into making Laphroaig a whisky like no other.
This 34 year old single malt whisky was carefully crafted from own malted barley on the floor and matured in American white oak casks that Hunter sourced first. It may not be for everyone, but for the discerning it will taste like no other.
As you pour your favourite Laphroaig whisky, take a moment to admire the golden honey hues of the whisky that paint the inside of the decanter before settling to the bottom like a calming ocean.
The bottles are bottled at 46,2 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and come in a gift box.
