Mezcal Vago Espadín Jarquín
Excellent artisanal mezcal Espadín Jarquín by Vago, created by Master Distiller Emigdio Jarquin in the rich, fertile valley of Miahuatlán at an altitude of 4970 meters. It has a distinct earthy taste with notes of green pepper, charcoal, herbs and freshly cut grass.
Mezcal is made using 100 % Espadin agave. After harvesting, the agave was roasted for 5 to 7 days in a clay pit. Subsequently, it was crushed with a traditional tug (a stone wheel pulled by a mule). Finally, it was distilled using a Copper Still.
Finally, the mezcal was filled into nice minimalistic bottles, on which you will find a label made from 100 % mash from the distillation. Only 1204 liters were produced!
