Plantation Black Cask Barbados & Venezuela
Plantation Black Cask is coming out with its 9th limited edition. The rums selected were from Barbados and Venezuela. The rum is intense and fresh, with subtle notes of pastry and citrus.
The rum has been matured by double maturation, which is typical of the Plantation brand. After primary maturation in ex-bourbon casks in their country of origin in a tropical climate, the blend of rums crossed the Atlantic to the south-west of France for secondary maturation in lightly toasted French oak casks.
The bottles were bottled at 40 % alcohol and the volume is 0,7 l. The label is beautifully vibrant and is inspired by the colourful patterns that can be found in many of the local cloth markets covering Barbados and the north of Venezuela.
