Port Askaig 17 Year Old

In 2023, Port Askaig is releasing a 17-year-old single malt whisky matured in traditional American oak casks. Approximately 9,000 bottles will be available each year. Matured whiskies from Islay are sought after for their flavour, maturity and limited character.

Whiskies are selected for their quality and age, blended and bottled at 50,5 % alcohol to capture the best flavour experience.

The aroma of the whisky offers notes of smoked meats, melon, ham and grapes intermingled with smoky smoke from the fireplace and citrus zest. On the palate, thick smoke and minerality combine with raspberry leaf and chocolate, culminating in red fruits and a hint of medicinal smoke with an herbal finish.

The whisky is not chill filtered or coloured. Bottles are supplied in stylish gift boxes.
