Ron Malteco Aňejo Suave 10 Year Old is an honest ten year old blend of premium rums from Guatemala. The rum is light and slightly sweetish, dominated by notes of candied fruit, vanilla and caramel, bold and perfectly balanced.

The rum-making process involves fermentation of sugar cane or molasses, distillation and subsequent maturation in oak barrels. Each distillery has its own secrets and methods that contribute to the unique flavour of the rum. In the case of Ron Malteco, the method usually used is flow distillation or continuous distillation.

This rum is characterised by rich flavours of caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and wood. Spices such as cinnamon and cloves are often present in the aroma. The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol and come in gift boxes.
