Ron Malteco Reserva Rara 25 Year Old

The 25-year-old rum Malteco Reserva Rara comes from Guatemala. It is distilled from molasses, then matured in oak barrels in a very specific place - caves, which are located 2,300 meters above sea level. It is these caves that are the hallmarks of Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala, the company that manufactures Malteco. The caves contain special deposits with a low oxygen content, which inevitably affects the distillate.

Malteco Reserva Rara is a very fresh and aromatic rum, abounding in enchanting sweetness. It bears tones of milk chocolate, caramel and vanilla. The notes of the fruit jam are tempting. In addition to the sweetness, the rum reveals hints of oak and butter cakes. In order not to make the taste monotonous, traces of coffee and nuts are gradually added. In the end, the rum is pleasantly long, warm, leaves a feeling of perfection.
