The Ileach
Ileach is a peated single malt whisky from a secret distillery in Islay that has received critical praise, and has a solid core of peat and malt.
The Ileach is a young single malt whisky that is made at a distillery whose name is unknown. Matured in oak casks, the malt and peat give it smoky notes.
The nose is characterised by young peat, herbal and oak notes, as well as a slight saltiness. The palate is smooth- malty and peaty with hints of spice, fruit and iodine.
The rough waters of the Atlantic Ocean have shaped not only the character of Islay's inhabitants for centuries, but also the character of their famous whisky. In many ways, this malt whisky reflects the character of the Islay people - it is both strong and smooth, yet mature for its years.
Robust peaty, with an unmistakable whiff of the seashore, The Ileach is a 'true Islay man'.
Bottled at 40 % ABV, it is bottled at 0,7 l. They are supplied in gift cartons.
