For Ardbeg, the turn of the millennium is recorded in history for entirely different reasons. During the renovation of the Ardbeg distillery, Dr. Bill Lumsden and the Whisky Creation team conjured up the first casks of the new millennium.

Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is the first limited edition in the new series from the year 2000, which combines the old and the new with modern innovative whisky production techniques - distilled in the original pot still that served Ardbeg for over 50 years until 2001.

Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is the first whisky to be released in 2024: a unique 23-year-old whisky that matures in ex-sherry Oloroso casks and ex-bourbon casks.

No two Ardbeg whiskies are the same, but the Vintage_Y2K bottle is truly a smoky anomaly, a story unlike anything that has come before.

Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K is bottled at an alcohol content of 46 %, is non-chill filtered and unfiltered. The bottle volume is 0.7 l and comes in a stylish gift box.
