A unique rum that commemorates the 40th anniversary of the "premiere" of Barceló Imperial. A special blend from Barceló Imperial's reserve stocks, it is aged in selected American and French oak casks with varying degrees of tanning. Secondary maturation is in European casks.
40 years dedicated to preserving the fine tradition of Barceló rums - a gift for those who truly appreciate the taste of fine rum. The bottles have been bottled at 43 % alcohol and the volume is 0,7 l. The bottles come in a luxury gift box.
The rum is a beautiful copper-brown colour. The aroma has harmonious notes of crème brûlée, caramelised raisins, dried cherries and spices. The taste is smooth and semi-dry. It has notes of fruit developing into the nutty and spicy layers typical of fine European wood. The finish is dominated by a long aftertaste of spices and elegant tobacco.
