Ron Barceló Imperial Rare Blends Maple Cask is a rum that is part of the Barceló Rum Rare Blends collection. This unique rum is made from the purest juice, which comes from the best selection of sugar cane from the Dominican Republic.
Maple Cask is the result of the careful maturation of the rarest rums in oak casks, which vary in their degree of burnout. These rums are then blended and this blend is further matured in maple barrels, giving the resulting rum its characteristic flavour and aroma.
The aroma of this rum is complex and harmonious. You can detect notes of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. There is also a subtle woodiness from the maple barrels. On the palate there are subtle notes of honeyed maple syrup, caramel and a little spice. The finish is long and elegant with hints of vanilla and subtle woody notes. The rum has a balanced sweetness and robust character.
The bottles have been bottled at 40 % alcohol, the volume is 0,7 l and the bottles come in stylish gift boxes.
