Ron Barcelo Imperial Rare Blends Porto Cask is a rum that is part of the Barcelo Rum Rare Blends collection. This unique rum is made from the purest juice, which comes from the best selection of sugar cane from the Dominican Republic.
Porto Cask is the result of the careful maturation of the rarest rums in oak casks, which vary in their degree of burnout. These rums are then blended and this blend is further matured in Tawny 10 port wine casks, giving the resulting rum a unique flavour and aroma.
This rum boasts a rich purple-amber colour that is truly unique in rums. Its aroma is the first to reveal surprising notes of figs and wild berry jam. Next, you can smell aromas of caramel and dried cherries, accompanied by subtle woody notes. The silky and sweet taste of this rum is finished with a very complex finish.
The bottles have been bottled at 40 % alcohol and, the volume is 0,7 l and the bottles come in gift boxes.
