Brugal Visionary Collection Limited Edition 02

The Brugal family has been passing down its know-how from generation to generation for 135 years. Jassil Villanueva, the fifth generation of Maestros Roneros, has brought an innovative vision to Brugal - Colección Visionaria Edición 02, which is part of an exclusive series utilizing aromatic barrel roasting.

The rums are 100% Dominican and this collection is no exception. For Edición 02, additional island treasures were handpicked, so valued that only 20% is exported: Dominican coffee.

In Edición 02, innovation continues through a new technique of aromatic barrel roasting - the master coopers roast barrels with Dominican coffee beans, which are then removed and the wood infused with their rich aromatic properties. The barrels are then prepared for filling with our exceptional liquid.

Colección Visionaria Edición 02 ages in expertly selected virgin European oak barrels, to develop the characteristic rich and complex flavor of the rum. With each sip, you taste the culmination of years of experience and the essence of a beloved country.

The aroma begins with exceptionally smooth rich notes of caramel and freshly brewed coffee, perfectly balanced with layers of dark chocolate and sweet vanilla.

The taste starts with a gentle explosion of spices - cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg - adding refined complexity to the flavor. Subtle notes of raisins seamlessly weave into the deep coffee flavor enriching every sip.

Each bottle is hand-sealed, signed, and wrapped in an iconic netting.

The Brugal distillery, founded in 1888 by Andrés Brugal, is located in Puerto Plata. Brugal Rum is made exclusively from sugarcane planted, grown, and harvested in the Dominican Republic.
