An unusual rum that is worth of tasting! Hampden Estate 12 year old HLCF 2010 Rare Cask Series #78 is the first of a special edition focused on the oldest rums from the Jamaican Hampden distillery.
The rum was distilled in 2010 and after 12 years of aging in a tropical climate zone in the home distillery Hampden bottled as oveproof rum with a high alcohol content of 61,9 %.
It is a high-ester rum ranging from 500-700 gr/hlpa, which promises an interesting taste experience. The extraordinary power of rum is accompanied by a memorable harmonious taste.
It offers a rich flavor-aromatic palette, which is an uninterrupted sequence of herbal, empyreumatic, fruity, spicy and intoxicating tones, which give it enormous diversity, and at the same time underline its distinctly oxidizing character.
A highly sought-after rum edition produced only in a limited number of 231 bottles.
