Hampden Estate HCF 12 Year Rare Cask Series #80 is a molasses single cask rum. This is the third release in a row from an edition focused on high-ester rums distilled in 2010 at the Jamaican Hampden Distillery. This rum matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate. HLCF is a mark indicating a high level of esters, which in the case is between 500-700 g/hlpa. The aromatic and flavor palette stands out for its extraordinary strength and remarkable balance. It reveals empyreumatic, camphor, spicy notes, which are not only part of the purest Jamaican tradition, but also gave this rum a magnificent character.
Produced in a very limited number of 252 bottles.
