Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt
Taketsuru Pure Malt is a Japanese whisky made in honor of company founder Masataka Taketsuru, who founded the Nikka brand in 1934. Masataka was the first Japanese to master Scotch production and bring this expertise back to Japan. Although he was a disciplined craftsman, he was also a curious and open-minded person who liked to experiment.
Taketsuru Pure Malt features a new formula that presents an excellent balance of Japanese whiskey with a pleasant aroma of earthiness, pastry and fruit, which is refined by an irresistible vanilla flavor full of floral notes.
The designation Pure Malt means that it is a mixture of malt whiskies from different distilleries. The whisky was bottled in a minimalist bottle with 43 % alcohol content, which is housed in a white and brown gift box with a beautiful design.
